Jerry Berman was a South African engineer who worked in Ukraine during Holodomor. Alison Marshall owns an archive of his letters written to her grandfather and grandmother, Meyer and Sonia Fortes. My fifth film is a silent testimony to conditions during Holodomor. This is based on witness accounts from letters during these times. Philip Colley is Great Nephew of Gareth Jones, a Welsh journalist who reported on conditions in Ukraine during Holodomor. I interviewed Philip at his campsite in Battle, Hastings. My third film is about Gareth Jones’ story. His route across Ukraine and maps of his journey. I interviewed Serhii at a book launch for his book Chernobyl, in London.  My second film is set in a Torgsin. These were shops for foreign visitors to Ukraine to buy luxury items and became a lifeline for residents in Ukraine during Holodomor. Gold, icons and family jewellery were exchanged for food.
